KATIE ERMILIO - FALL 2012
Gunny + Galloon was commissioned to develop a custom print for Katie Ermilio's Fall collection in close collaboration with the designer based on a few selected visual references. The final print, inspired in part by pearls and gemstones and a play on traditional polka dots, was screen printed on a variety of grounds including silk faille and satin. This print was modified for each individual style to create varying trompe l'oeil effects of ombrés, sweetheart necklines and bra shapes. Gunny + Galloon also provided production printing were the original artworks for the sample pieces were individually altered to fit each of the graded pattern pieces ranging in size from 0-12.
